TERMS & REFUNDS

What the fee buys
The $10 entry fee is a one-time fee paid to Out-melee for a service: one of the 8 slots in that day's tournament, and a listing in the published bracket for the whole day regardless of the outcome. It is not a wager, a stake, or a bet. No money is pooled between users, no money is held on any user's behalf, and no cash prize is ever paid out.
What is won
The prize is position on the page — a listing — and nothing else. The winner of the final is displayed in first position until the next final. Every other entrant remains listed in the bracket for that day.
It is decided by skill
The outcome of a fight is determined solely by the choices both players make and how precisely they time their input. The game contains no random element of any kind. The full rules and every damage value are published at /rules, and every match is logged move by move and retained.
Refunds
The fee is refunded in full if your bracket cannot be run for any reason on our side — server failure, a cancelled tournament, or a defect that affects the result. Ask by replying to your entry email.
The fee is not refunded once the bracket has run, including when an entrant loses, and including when an entrant fails to appear for a match at its published time.
Showing up
Fight times are fixed and published when you enter. Both players have 10 minutes from a match's scheduled time to enter the arena; a player who does not appear forfeits that match. An entrant whose opponent is absent advances without fighting.
Fair play
Match links are personal. Automating play, tampering with the client, or having someone else play your match are all grounds for voiding a result and removing a listing without refund. Results are computed on our servers, not in your browser.
Listings we will remove
We may remove or refuse any listing at our discretion, including anything unlawful, deceptive, or that impersonates another company. Removal for cause does not entitle you to a refund.
Payments
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Their terms and privacy policy also apply to your purchase.
